Responsibilities
Mr. Kerry Schneider joined the Knowledge Services department of SIWI in 2013. Mr. Schneider contributes to the development of research and project management in a number of fields including Transboundary Water Management, Climate Change, and Capacity Building. He is also involved in the implementation of several large-scale projects including the Transboundary Waters Assessment Program (TWAP) and the Shared Waters Partnership.
Competence
Mr. Schneider draws from a wealth of experience in the humanitarian aid sector. He has worked for years with a wide range of stakeholders including international multi-lateral agencies, aid and development donors, and their implementing agencies. Most recently, Mr. Schneider worked with the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute where he was involved in the research and development of the EthicalCargo initiative and served as the training coordinator for hundreds of humanitarian aid and peacekeeping personnel.
Background
Mr. Schneider has a diverse educational background. He holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Indiana University and a M.A. in International Humanitarian Action from Uppsala University.
