Responsibilities
Ms Anna Forslund is a Programme Manager at SIWI Knowledge Services, working within the thematic area of Climate Change and Water. She is co-responsible for SIWI’s international policy dialogue on climate change and water, and works with implementation and development of climate adaptation projects. Her further work areas include capacity building on water, transboundary water, as well as businesses engagement in water. She is also a lecturer on SIWI’s international training programmes. Ms Anna Forslund co-ordinates SIWI’s cross cutting work on environmental sustainability and protection.
Competence
Ms Anna Forslund is trained in biology and water law with expertise e.g. in water footprint, environmental flows and freshwater conservation. For the last 10 years she has been involved in national freshwater policy development, management and implementation in Asia and Africa.
Background
Ms Anna Forslund has more than 10 years of experience from programme management and freshwater policy development with a background as Water Adviser at WWF Sweden, where she coordinated and lead WWFs work on freshwater. She has served as expert in national water law reforms as well as adviser on climate adaption initiatives and corporate water responsibility.
