Responsibilities

Ms. Jacobson is a Programme Manager at the UNDP Water Governance Facility (WGF) at the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI). At SIWI, Ms Jacobson is responsible for coordinating anti-corruption activities in collaboration with partnering organisations and managing capacity development activities on water integrity.

Competence

Ms. Jacobson’s working experience includes countries such as Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Tajikistan, Palestine and the wider Middle East. Prior to joining SIWI, Ms. Jacobson worked for the World Bank’s Water and Sanitation Programme in Uganda. During this time, Ms Jacobson provided support to anti-corruption initiatives in Uganda’s water sector, including capacity building of civil society and technical support to the Government of Uganda on anti-corruption. She was also responsible for the management and implementation of two Water Integrity Studies in Uganda in collaboration with the Water Integrity Network/Transparency International.

Background

Ms. Jacobson holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations from Göteborg University.
