Apply now! Junior Rapporteurs wanted for the 2015 World Water Week in Stockholm

SIWI is looking to engage Master Students, PhD Students, or young professionals based in Sweden that have a special interest and expertise in one or several of the subjects discussed at the World Water Week in Stockholm.

World Water Week in Stockholm is an annual event organised by SIWI, attracting 3,000 participants from over 140 countries and more than 250 organisations working with water and development. This year’s theme is “Water for Development”, and the conference takes place August 23-28 in Stockholm.

The Junior Rapporteurs will follow pre-identified themes during the week in order to capture and analyse the discussion in relation to the overall aim of the week. The rapporteurs will present their findings and reflections at the Closing Plenary Session on Friday 28 August and to contribute to the Overarching Conclusions of the 2015 World Water Week in Stockholm.

The engagement does not include any reimbursement, but the successful candidates will receive free registration to the conference, lunches and social events. Working at the World Water Week will give you great opportunities to network and develop your analytical skills under professional guidance. Please note that that this is both an important and time consuming assignment.

Applications, including a CV and a cover letter which clearly states your areas of interest, should be sent to Elin Weyler before 1 May 2015. The selected candidates will be designated an appropriate thematic area to focus on, and a Lead Rapporteur to work with during the week.
