SIWI’s #MySJWP campaign kicks off Stockholm Junior Water Prize 20th jubilee!

Feb 26, 2016

SIWI launches #MySJWP campaign as part of the celebrations for the Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP), which this year celebrates its 20th year. The campaign will help showcase the global scope of the competition, its great water projects, and participants.

Each year, over 100 thousand participants in over 30 countries across all continents join national competitions in hopes of earning the chance of representing their nation at the international final held during the World Water Week in Stockholm.

The competitions are open to young people between the ages of 15 and 20 who have conducted water-related projects of proven environmental, scientific, social or technological significance. The winner of the Stockholm Junior Water Prize receives a USD 15,000 award, a blue crystal prize sculpture, a diploma, as well as the stay in Stockholm. H.R.H Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is the Patron of the Prize.

With the #MySJWP campaign, all participants of the 2016 competition are invited to join and be part of the celebrations.
