World Water Week 2014 at UN-Water Conference, Zaragoza: Livestream

LIVESTREAM: Zaragoza side event, ‘Introduction to World Water Week 2014’, Wednesday 15th January, 14:15 CET

Mr. Adrian Puigarnau, Programme Manager, World Water Week and Prizes, will address the UN-Water Annual Conference in Zaragoza Preparing for World Water Day 2014: Water and Energy tomorrow to introduce plans for 2014 World Water Week in Stockholm – Energy and Water.

The session will provide information on how organisations can get involved in this year’s World Water Week. Mr. Puigarnau will also present an overview of the 2014 content development plans for the alongside insights into the new initiatives planned for the conference.

World Water Week 2014 – Energy and Water takes an overall “systems view” of how to develop and manage energy and water for the good of society and ecosystems – at local, national, regional and global levels. It also focuses on how to avoid unintended consequences of narrow sectorial approaches.

The UN-Water Annual Zaragoza Conference is part of the road map for World Water Day 2014 which focuses on the nexus of water and energy. Content from the Zaragoza conference will feed into the focused dialogue at the UN-Water seminar held at the 2014 World Water Week in Stockholm.
