The Stockholm Industry Water Award was established in 2000 by the Stockholm Water Foundation in collaboration with the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, a network of experienced and highly competent professionals in the fields of engineering and economics, and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, a coalition of 200 international companies committed to sustainable development.
