Stockholm Industry Water Award


Recognising excellence in the business world

Stockholm Industry Water Award honours outstanding business sector contributions to sustainable water management. The award recognises companies and business organisations that demonstrate devoted water stewardship through exceptional achievements in their water usage.

The award seeks to encourage activities that advances the world’s water situation and lay the ground for increased sustainability in the business world. These activities can include rationalising water usage in production processes, developing new products and management strategies, as well as implementing innovative approaches in water and wastewater management.

Winning the award

The Stockholm Industry Water Award is a well-known award that is presented to the best in business, and the winner receives global recognition for their accomplishments.

The winner is also invited to participate in the World Water Week in Stockholm, the world’s leading event for water and development issues, where they receive the award during a prize ceremony.

The Stockholm Industry Water Award was established by SIWI in collaboration with the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). The Award is also supported by International Water Association (IWA).
