Many in the world associate his name with revolutionary perseverance to end Apartheid in South Africa, with grand scale reform and not least, with a charming charisma. The 2000 Stockholm Water Prize Laureate, Professor Kader Asmal left the world a slightly better place, but his choices and knowledge will live on to inspire many, over many years to come.
