In this issue Water Front presents the workshop conclusions from the 1999 Stockholm Water Symposium, and gives an introduction to the 2000 Stockholm Water Symposium which focuses on water security. A conclusion of a workshop in Uganda between the Commission for East African Co-operation (EAC) and Sweden on activities to promote sustainable development of the Lake Victoria region is presented as well.
