The overarching conclusions of the Stockholm Water Symposia 2002 are the main focus in this issue of Stockholm Water Front. This years theme was ”Balancing Competing Water Uses Present Status and New Prospects”, and discussions about food and energy production, as well as the costs of water pollution and deterioration, are present in this overall conclusion.
