Mr. Joyce develops economic policy positions, tools and thinking regarding water resource management to support effective decision making, strategy and policy formulation.

John leads multidisciplinary groups to integrate social, economic and biophysical foundations of water resource management as a platform for dialogue with academia, business, politics and the broader public. He is dedicated to understanding the effects of political, social and economic incentives on group behavior and institutions.

His focus areas include the Collaborative Programme Euphrates and Tigris (CPET), the Global Green Growth Forum (3GF) and political economy and institutional design.
