Lotten is managing the Water Governance Facility (WGF). She has previously worked with the coordination of the GO-Water and the UNDP GoAL-Waters programmes. Lotten also has experience working with the WASH department and the coordination of the UNDP GoAL WASH Programme which aimed at strengthening WASH governance in 15 countries.

Prior to joining SIWI in 2011, Lotten worked at Swedish Foreign Ministry where she provided support in the process of developing new bilateral aid strategies, particularly for conflict and post-conflict countries. For two years she worked at the European Commission Delegation in Sudan, where she was responsible for managing the support to a major programme aiming at improving the living conditions of urban poor. Ms. Hubendick’s regional experiences also include Latin America and the Middle East spanning nine years. She holds a Masters in Political Science from Uppsala University, Sweden.

A Swedish national, she is proficient in English, Spanish and French.
