Mr. Torgny Holmgren, Executive Director of SIWI is presenting the Stockholm Story. How Stockholm went from one of dirtiest and unhealthiest cities to become one of the cleanest cities in the world in terms of water and sanitation. Furthermore how the success of integrated water management inspired to start the Stockholm Water Prize and the World Water Week in Stockholm to share, discuss and encourage solutions for a water wise world.

Also present at the WEFTEC is this year’s winners of the Stockholm Junior Water Prize, Mr. Luigi Marshall Cham and Mr. Jun Yong Nicholas Lim from Singapore, who were honored in the opening session.
