New issue of Stockholm Water Front out now!

The Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) continues to expand and develop as a global thought leader on water policy issues, particularly in its thematic focal areas: climate change, transboundary management, water economics, governance, and the Water-Energy-Food nexus. In this issue of the Stockholm Water Front, you’ll find these themes represented in many ways.

Mr. Andreas Lindström reviews a book on Water and Energy, Dr. Mats Eriksson, Mr. Rami Abdelrahman and Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sinh investigate how to build more resilient food production systems in Vietnam to reduce the risks faced under climate change and Mr. Alastair Morrison argues why we should not shy away from discussing sanitation within the water community.

Furthermore, you’ll find a short report from the 2012 World Water Week in Stockholm, which focused mainly on the issue of Water for Food Security, and brought together a wide range of views from different sectors concerned with both policy and practice.
